How did you get started in this business?
In the early 90's i would travel with a couple of associates i knew doing demo, becoming more, and more interested in the work they accomplished. I chose from that moment to become a bit more help than one of the guys that made a mess, to fixing one.

Go for ratings over cost. Go for pictures, coverage, and certifications. Most of all besides the usual must haves- go for the personality, and respect for the clients wants from that contactor.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Understanding pricing, and procedures to get the job done are the most talked about subjects. Please check this site, homewyse, and others-no your wants, and its cost. Questions can then range from; can you assist with ideas on material patterns, and colors, to when can you start?.. From there we hit home.
