What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we discuss the scope of the work first. Then, if it seems my Company can provide the services needed at a price that meets the customers budget, then we take then next steps to formalize the work buy write a contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have the following:
1. An engineering degree; 2. An MBA in finance; 3. A real estate broker's license for MN; 4. A general contractors license for MN and WI.

No, it is by the build. Since my work is custom, it needs to priced acordingly.
How did you get started in this business?
After owning a lumberyard for some time, I decided to use my buying power there to sell my building materials through my home building company to better serve savings to my buyers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily new home buyers, but to a lesser extent, remodeling clients.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to review the work of the builder or remodeler, as the case may be, either at their website or in the field. And, as wanted, visit with perevious customers.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Simply does their budget make sense for the work needing completion. What time frame is needed. What if any work on their own part do they want to incude in the process.
