About

Rather than using my design taste, I strive to create what my clients envision their space to look and feel. My role is to interrupt your vision and assist in making it happen within your budget. I am available to be anything from the inspiration for a project you complete or the project manager overseeing the projection from inception to completion. I have several private label lines of furnishings (home & office) and accessories available at a deep discounts for clients only.

I enjoy interacting with my clients, assiting them in articulating a vision and then making sure it all comes together. I am blessed with a good color eye that helps make every room flow with color (or neutrals). I am often referred to as the Design Doctor because I problem solve using good design concepts.

    Frequently asked questions

I offer a 1 hour complementary consultation to get to know one another and the scope of the project. This allows us to know if we can work together. At that time I can usually offer a scope of work and a preliminary budget.

I have a degree in Interior Design from Wayne State Uiversity and updated speciaity training in many areas.

My pricing is hourly and with billed monthly or included in a budgeted project cost. The first design is billed in advance and the remainder at the end of the month. My prices have a range depending on the type of work. Generally they are from $50 - $95. Often I have specials running.

I founded my company in 1994 and concentrated in the commercial and office environments for the first 15 years. About 10 years ago I began accepting residential work which includes anything from color consultations, staging, shopping .... to complete design and construction of rooms with my team of contractors.

I believe I have worked with just about every type of client. Homeowners, landlords, schools, govenment, hospitality and businesses just to name a few.

Have an initial meeting at the place the design will occur. Be honest in what you expect, know your budget range, and express any concerns you may have.

Knowing their desired outcome is important. It is always easier to work backwards than to go forward without a clear idea of the end result. If undecided then look for photos of what you are thinking and trust your designer to work with you to create your own.
