About
I’m a 4th year electrical apprentice with over 14 years of diversified construction and electrical experience and customer service. I’ve been in the trades since I was 14, working as a carpenter with my dad who owned his own business at a master carpenter in CT. At 17 I swore into the US Army as a carpentry and masonry specialist and served for 4 years and 27 weeks. When I finished with the Army, I attended school for finance and realized how much I miss working with my hands and got back into the trades doing mostly carpentry (rough-in and finish) and home remodels. Then in 2021 I got hired at Tesla to install solar roofs and that’s where I found my passion for electrical work. I signed up for school and joined Tesla’s electrical apprentice program where I was worked for 3 years and gained over 5000 work hours. I eventually made it off of the roof and started doing more service tech type of work where I was testing and replacing powerwalls and solar inverters where needed. I enjoyed my time at Tesla but felt I was hitting a glass ceiling with what more I could actually learn that would benefit my electrical journey outside of solar so i applied to an electrical contractor in my town and got hired there. I’ve been there since May 2024 and have learned a lot about the residential and commercial side of electrical. I now have roughly 7000 apprentice hours completed and all of my required classroom hours. I also have my OSHA 30 certificate, OSHA forklift certificate, and OSHA aerial and scissor lift certifications. Fully insured
