Green Custom Framing & Carpentry, Inc.

Green Custom Framing & Carpentry was established by Randy Green in 2003 and has served homeowners as a Master Carpenter and Builder for a diverse range of projects including conventionally framed homes, heavy timber structures, remodeling (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.), additions and restyling the exterior of homes. As homeowners and designers began to learn more about Randy’s skills as a craftsman and his integrity as a manager he was encouraged to be more than Master Carpenter. In response to these requests Randy expanded the company’s services to include full service general construction and design/build capabilities. Green Custom Framing & Carpentry will work closely with you and the design team to deliver the quality and building experience you expect.

Craftsmanship is about applying a well-developed practical and theoretical understanding of your chosen trade. Randy Green has been engage in the building trades since 1992 as a student and practitioner. His path to Master Carpenter and General Contractor started in the classroom followed by an apprenticeship, and then serving as a journeyman carpenter for large and small homes until he mastered the art of home building. This includes expanding his core competency as a Master Carpenter to include other elements of building a home. For Randy the learning never ends ... and as an artisan he strongly believes in giving back by mentoring younger tradesman.

Managing construction is about a adopting a collaborative and mission focused approach to leadership. Randy is on the job site frequently and often self performs part of the construction work. He keeps the homeowner engaged as a key member of the team during design and construction. Over the years he has assembled a knowledgeable team of tradesman and consultants that he draws from based on the needs of each project. Schedule and budget are closely managed, regularly updated and coordinated with the whole team during design and construction. On most projects Randy is there as a manager and craftsman doing what it takes to get the job done well, on time and on budget. You could say Randy Green is a ‘hands on’ manager and intends to stay that way.
