Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually get together to discuss their project, and go over the many options that they have. It is very important to do this before you start the project, so your end result is exactly what you wanted it to be. Sometimes the decision process can seem overwhelming. We can certainly help with that issue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner and I are both college educated, but it is the 30+ years of experience in the construction industry that gives us our knowledge and expertise.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, every job is different
How did you get started in this business?
We both had summer jobs in the construction field during school, and we really enjoyed it. Every job is new and exciting.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Our job is to make sure that the customer is happy with the process, and more importantly, the end result.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always check to make sure that the contractor is licensed and insured. You should also check with the department of consumer protection to see if there have been any complaints or cases against them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The more thought you put into the details of your job, ahead of time, the more likely you will be happy with the process and end result. You need to be mentally prepared to live with a construction project going on in your home. The more decisions that are addressed up front, the smoother the project will go.
