    Frequently asked questions

At Frisco Hammer, we start by ensuring we know exactly what the customer wants and needs. Through a discussion process, the scope, schedule and budget lead us to a cost and expectations that any client deserves. Once each project begins, site managers oversee our craftsmen during work, and quality control checks are done during and after each job. No project is complete until each client is more than happy with the outcome, even if that means we don't make the profit that was expected. Client satisfaction is number one.

Our team of project professionals and craftsmen have a combined over 70 years of experience in the General Contracting, Commercial, and home improvement industries.

For short, less than a day jobs, we normally like to charge time and materials.  As this benefits both Frisco Hammer and the client.  Very small jobs are hard to place a hard bid, and normally end up being padded to protect companies from high risk.  Using T&M, project progress is updated to the customer as work is done, and small changes can be made during the process.  Standard hourly pricing can range from $35 to $70 per hour depending on the service provided; from the low end of drywall repair, or high end of welding for example.

For larger jobs, the scope of the project is outlined with the client in detial, and Frisco Hammer provides a Fixed Price or Hard Bid to complete, to include labor, materials, logistics, permitting, inspections, etc.

The owner of Frisco Hammer started by managing a small self-run handyman services business, which grew to where we are today.

Frisco Hammer has worked with countless home owners, commercial offices, heavy construction, the US Government and more.

A very sweet homeowner for which we recently completed a large honeydo list was so impressed by our craftsmen's work and customer service, she asked if she could say a quick prayer with and for them once work was completed.  Made our day.

The biggest advise I would give a customer is to outline the scope of work in very great detail for any pro they are working with.  This will alleviate a lot of misscommunication and frustration for both parties in the future of each project.
