What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is simple and easy! Customers can call our main number, enter their zip code and get routed to their local 10BUCKSAROOM office! When they speak to a friendly receptionist, they can let us know which rooms they would like cleaned and they are given a price right over the phone. No need for estimates! A customer then chooses the day that works best for their schedule and we give them a time slot!
Our cleaning technicians then show up to the residence for the appointment fully equipped with all the cleaning supplies they need to get the job done right! No need to provide any cleaning agents! After the cleaning is complete, our highly trained cleaning technicians will conduct a walk-through with the customer to ensure everything is satisfactory. The customer can then pay the cleaning technicians!
It's a simple process which makes our customer's lives easier! Our customers also love setting up recurring services where we send our cleaners out on a set schedule to clean and the customer doesn't have to be present! Very convenient, safe and affordable!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner of 10BUCKSAROOM, I have over 25 years of experience as a professional cleaner. I use innovative techniques not seen before and have revolutionized the cleaning process.
I have taken everything I learned in this business and personally train my staff. I am confident in the skills and abilities each of my staff members has.

The name says it all! 10BUCKSAROOM gives an affordable and easy price breakdown. Kitchens and full bathrooms are the only rooms regularly priced at $20 each due to them being higher traffic areas that require a lot more time, cleaning, and supplies. Every other room, such as living, dining, and bedrooms, are only $10 each! We also offer add-ons, such as window washing and appliance cleaning for an affordable rate.
There is nothing that a 10BUCKSAROOM cleaning team won't do! If a customer has a more detailed project, needs laundry done, dishes washed, or closet organization, we offer By the Hour packages that can be reserved for a specific amount of time. Just ask your local office!
How did you get started in this business?
I have always enjoyed cleaning and helping around the house. My mother was a great inspiration to me. I also loved the idea of being my own boss. I knew I could improve on traditional methods used by cleaning companies today. So that's what I did! I simplified the process, and made professional cleaning affordable for EVERYONE. I truly love what I do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From college students, stay at home moms and dads, to the elderly in assisted living, 10BUCKSAROOM welcomes all to try our services! We do not put limitations on who can use our services like other maid companies do! Here at 10BUCKSAROOM, we truly believe that everyone deserves a home that is "Spotless for a Lot Less"!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently were able to open a new location in College Station, Texas. We dove right in and are getting involved in the community. We were very fortunate to have been asked by TAMU's SECC department to participate in their silent auction this past fall. We want to share our passion for cleaning with our community. Giving back to those who need it most, or participating in worthy causes helps our mission and feeds the soul!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
While it may seem like a good idea to hire anyone to clean because it might be cheaper, the customer assumes all risk when they choose to do so. Always make sure that whomever a customer decides to hire to clean, that they are INSURED and BONDED for the customer's protection! Mistakes and accidents CAN occur and it's better to be safe than sorry!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Every cleaning company has a method in which they use to clean. Be sure to find out if certain tasks, like dish washing, is included in your cleaning. Not every task will be included. You know your home best! If you know there is a wobbly picture frame or items that are delicate, please let us know! We always clean with the utmost care and want to ensure the safety of your personal property. Sometimes, one company might not be a good fit, and that's okay! As a customer, you can pick and choose who you want to clean your home!
