About
I am great for little fix-it things that the big contractors don’t want to mess with. I
I’m pretty diverse in the trades and are mechanically inclined enough to figure it out with the humility to ask questions and not pretend. I am not a licensed plumber but will do light plumbing as far as fixtures and water heaters. As long as it doesn’t involve new lines or tapping into existing ones we’re good.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am 46 and have been in the building trades for the majority of my adult life. My father being my first inspiration and teacher.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I will figure the amount of time I think it will take and charge $40.00 /hr $.58 a mile, plus materials and other costs I may incure in the course of getting the project complete. This hourly rate is supposed to cover business taxes , insurance, vehicle, tools, other overhead costs necessary to operate a legitimate small business. My rate is below standard market value, but I am trying ti get myself established. I enjoy the work and the people I meet so its still a win.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is there any part of the project you could do yourself? If the contractor you is charging by the ft. then you may not be saving anything so be sure to fond your pro first if your goal is to save money.
