About
Take distressed properties in undervalued areas and make them beautiful raising property value for the area encouraging further infrastructure and development along with the municipality using increased tax revenue to improve roads & public areas. I build and remodel homes with tremendous attention to quality and budget servicing the customer's needs each step of the way. I try with every project to stay on budget and on time paying close attention not to disrupt the client's lives. The remodeling or build process should be fun and exciting, not an inconvenience. I love building and remodeling properties and helping improve the city I grew up in and giving back to the community. It makes me happy to improve or rejuvenate homes and to see the look on a customer's face when a job has surpassed their expectations. Thats the enjoyment I get out of the work I perform.

New construction is typically around $100 sqft. My cost is typically around $75-80 sqft and my margin is typically $20 sqft. These are negotiable and prices vary depending on a multitude of variables but these numbers provide a good template on what can you can expect to pay for new construction. I have $0 down lending resources for new construction as well.
How did you get started in this business?
I was and still am a loan officer for residential and commercial properties. I was born in 1980 and have been in real estate since I was 24 years old. Prior to that I worked for Prudential as a money manager. I hold securities licenses including series 66, 67, 7 & group 1 insurance license and I have my TX loan officer license and NMLS. I was structuring a ton of loans for investors so started remodeling on the side and the company grew so fast and I enjoyed it so much I made it my full time job because it required my full time attention.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds from wealthy to middle class government assisted customers. I don't discriminate and find satisfaction in helping all people regardless of their tax return.

I've remodeled "flipped" over 25 homes in east and south Dallas striving to set the bar a bit higher every time. Investors use my homes as the gold standard which to try and reach. I'm proud of that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be comfortable with your builder since you will be working with him for the next several months. Make sure he is affluent with not just building but pulling permits in your municipality. Not knowing and understanding the permit process can slow you down tremendously. Make sure he has good crews that are all licensed in their respective fields. Make sure your builder is licensed and carries insurance. Most of all make sure he can get the job done correctly and on time. Things happen in construction and deadlines and timelines sometimes aren't met but make sure your builder is smart and has the resources and aptitude to adapt to a consistently changing field. It really helps to like the individual that you will be working with:)
