Lee Horticultural Services Ltd
About
We are a mid sized landscape design/build company which has been operating in Fairfield County since 1995. We plan and install all aspects of landscape from hardscape to flowers. Our crew will maintain the installations after they are complete as well. I hold an Arborist License, a Custom Grounds License, NOFA Organic Land Care Specialist certification and I am also the Deputy Tree Warden of Wilton. I have been a member of the Wilton Conservation Commission and currently sit on the Wetland Commission.
I love to be outside and find the work very gratifying. Seeing the final product of a successful installation never gets old. I have an appreciation for the environment and I love to enhance it so that my customers can enjoy it that much more.

I meet on site with clients with no charge for an initial consultaion. If we determine that a sketch is necessary than I provide one. Estimates are provided at no charge and design work is provided at no charge if a contract is set in place for the installation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am certified by NOFA as an Organic Land Care Specialist and by the CNLA as a Nurseryman and Landscape Contractor. I am the Deputy Tree Warden for Wilton, CT and I sit on the Wilton Wetland Commission.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every project is different so I do not have set pricing unless it is for very specific aspects such as Flagstone walkways or patios.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked at a local nursery from 1978-1995 and started my own company in 1995.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have planted individual shrubs for clients and we have installed projects that totalled several hundred thousand dollars. I like to work with all customers in order to satisfy their specific needs.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
A project I have always enjoyed working on is an antique home located along a designated Scenic Road here in Wilton. We have been working on the project for over 10 years and the overall feel of the property is that it fits into the setting ideally.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest that anyone thinking of hiring a pro would check to make sure that they hire someone who is licensed, insured and has local referrals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should try and think about what their long term goals are for their yard and think about the big picture, even if they would only like to implement a small portion of that goal for the present. It is always beneficial to have as much information about the project in mind before calling in the pro.
