When I started my company I didn't want to be the biggest company, I just wanted to be the best company. My father taught me years ago to always do the right thing when no one is looking. I live by that standard every day. There are so many companies out there that are out for only one thing, and that's your money. It seems that some construction companies today have forgotten what "taking pride in your work" means. I am a Hands-On company owner that loves what he does. I take pride in not only my work but in everything I do. I have and will always go above and beyond to make sure my customers are 100% satisfied with the services they paid for. Kemp Contracting LLC is a veteran-owned company. I served my country proudly in the United States Navy right out of high school. The military taught me, not only a career but, it taught me teamwork, responsibility, respect, and so many other things that I use every day. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tried to keep the process simple. A customer will call with a service they need done. I will make an appointment to meet with them in person and look at the service they need done. I will always offer different options on how to fix the problem or a more efficient way to complete the project. I will take notes and make a detailed scope of work during our visit and make sure the customer and I are on the same page as to what they're wanting done. Normally within 24 hours, depending on the project size, I will email the customer a detailed and honest estimate. As soon as the customer signs and accepts the estimate, I will put them on the schedule to start work.
