I went on my own for two reasons, get my son's out from in front of the computer (it worked) and to control the quality of the work I do. I am by far my worst critic, if I don't like it we will do it again. As far as the work we do, the only question i ask my self is would I do that at my house?

It's good or it's not good enough!!

I enjoy all the people I have met over the years in the concrete business, both homeowners and guys I've worked with. I started out in Honolulu Hi 1987 with a world wide company on a crew of 11 guys and one grumpy old man who somehow kept us in line. I was 25 yrs old, I liked it and I still like doing it thirty years later. Concrete is an amazing product, water, sand, cement and rocks mixed together poured as a liquid with breaking point of thousands of pounds per square inch in 28 days and will keep that strength for a hundred years. When I leave you with a new patio, driveway, sidewalk or any other concrete project you may have, you will get many years of use with no maintenance and that is what i enjoy most.
