One of our MH3 Designers will set up a free design consultation and meet with you at your house.  We will listen to you describe your vision for your landscape and/or pool concept.  Our designer can then help guide you with a direction for your new project right there.  We will put together a Design Contract and once approved, we can begin to put your new dream on paper! It generally takes 2-4 weeks from this initial design consultation to present you with your new design, along with a quote for all the work needed to bring your new landscape and/or pool to life.  A revision or change may need to be done and a follow up meeting scheduled.  Once we agree upon the scope of work and sign a contract, we can schedule your installation portion (usually within 4-6 weeks after signing a contract, weather permitting).  We will manage the project all the way through and changes and adjustments can always be made.  Once the project is done, we do a walk through with the you and go over any questions you may have.  Then you can just enjoy your new outdoor retreat!

Our team has over 60 years of combined skills and knowledge in the landscaping industry.  As 'The Creative Genius' and Principal Designer of MH3 Design Group, I have been in the landscaping field for 34 years, starting out as a laborer with Yardmasters Landscapes.  I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture with a Theory of Design minor from UW-River Falls.  I began my career as an Independant Landscape Designer in 1995 after I graduated and have done it ever since.  I founded MH3 Design Group in 2012 to work with clients who wanted to work with a fun, enthusiastic team to design and build their unique outdoor entertaining spaces along with pools or custom water features.  Our focus has always been on being creative and unique and providing our customers with a very high level of skills and professionalism.

There is no standard pricing due to the different materials we can incorporate based on each individual project.  Design Fees generally range from $800-$2500 based on the scope of work.  Our projects generally range from $35,000- $400,000. We have both a fixed cost and cost plus pricing model depending on the project and scope of work.  We are a one-stop shop and handle all your landscaping and pool desires.

I started the summer before my freshman year at Hill Murray working on a crew.  Every since that summer in 1987, I have been working in the landscaping field as either a laborer, foreman, project manager, designer, and/or sales rep.  I truely have worked from the ground up!

My customers all vary.  But, the common point of all my customers is they are looking for a team of professionals that can provide them with beautiful solutions to their issues while creating their amazing landscape. We are generally brought in to solve major engineering issues for pool installs or soil corrections.  Our group focuses on working with clients on larger projects, generally involving a whole yard and pool area.  Our discerning clientele usually likes to be shown materials that are different then just the everyday material seen around the Twin Cities areas.  They are in need of creative designs and high end installers.  That is what we bring to the table for them.   

In the landscaping and pool industry, you get what you pay for.  So if you buy cheap, you will be buying twice.  We charge for our design and installation services because our years of experience and expertise.  Other companies may offer design services free, but that is not what our clientele is looking for.  If you are looking for a creative design/build firm for your new luxury landscape and pool oasis, please do not hesitate to call us!  We look forward to speaking with you.
