American Carpet Care
About
We've been in business since 2002, the owner has 37 years experience in janitorial and is an owner/operator who will be the service tech coming to your home or office. Being a small business, we have total control of quality which sets us apart from the large companies.
This is the type of service that most people cannot perform themselves so the satisfaction is being able to help people, especially the elderly and busy families who have no other resources. Because we come into your home or office, we consider this to be very personal. You put trust in our technicians to work around your knick knacks, your children, your pets and we consider this trust an honor and take the utmost care in our work. We will always be the neighborhood cleaner, employing friends and family, because you desrve the personal touch and that's hard to count on from our larger, well known, competors.

You can email us at [email protected] or call us at 734-425-7542 to get a price over the phone. We need approximate area sizes, number of stairs, lengths of hallways, etc.. We'll go over where your water source is, answer any questions and go over the method of payment. We take cash or check, sorry, no credit/debit cards. We set up an appointment.we
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
the owner has a lifetime of experience and attends trade shows and read and contributes to industry white paper to keep abreast of new technologies, methods, machines and cleaning products. He trains our very small staff and his main helper is his wife.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
no stanadard pricing. Each project is unique. We have no coupons or specials. We stand by our price given over the phone, however, if the sizes and areas are misprepresented over the phone or if there was any miscommunication, we would reprice it on site before we continue; these cases are very rare. We stand by our process and think it's very important to know that we will never up-sell you. We don't sell products, all pretreatment and deodorizers are included and something extra like protectant (Scotch Guard) has to be arranged at time of scheduling, we will not sell you anything.
How did you get started teaching?
Adam, the Owner, got started in Janitorial 37 years ago in Cleveland Ohio where he worked his way up At JV Janitorial from sweeping floors to Vice President over the course of 17 years. He has trained hundreds of technicians over decades for window cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, floor treatments and safety.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call around and get a few prices. Your cheapest quote may not be in your best interest. Read reviews and do your homework. Remember, your smaller firms have better control over quality and the type of technician and equipment that us brought into your home or office.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Approximate square footages should be provided for accurate pricing.
Tell them about any pets you have and how you will separate them from the work areas.
Think about where your water source is and how we will be able to access it.
What kind of items you will need to move. Anything on the floor will need to be picked up. Small moveable items should be moved into another room or on top of beds, couches. We move furniture that is moveable, we cannot move televisions, grandfather clocks, wall units, pit groups, or anything that is just too heavy to move. We use styrofoam or plastic to put under wooden legs of furtniture.
