About
At SIDC HOMES, we believe a house is not a home until it is designed for the way you actually live.
We are a luxury interior design and insurance restoration firm in Rockville, Maryland, serving Rockville, Aspen Hill, and communities throughout Montgomery County. Clients come to us for one of two reasons: they want a beautiful, well-planned space, or something has gone wrong and they need a steady hand to put it right.
We handle both. Full home renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, commercial and office interiors, and water or fire damage restoration managed alongside your carrier. We are licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission, and our restoration scopes follow Xactimate line-item standards written to return your home to pre-loss condition.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phase 1: Discovery Phase- Where we do an initial consultation at the client's home or project site to determine what the client's needs are.
We ask vital questions to ensure we are providing the best services possible. This informational stage is provided to the client for free for 30-minutes. We find out as much as we can about the client, about the project, and anything else that affects the project.
Phase 2: Implementation Phase- Here we do a thorough walk-through of the space or review floor plans with our clients and that time we get a visual understanding of the project altogether.
We measure all aspects of the project site. We also look at the space for proper measurements to ensure space planning is accurate and correct.
Phase 3: Confirmation Phase- Together we agree upon the prospective proposals for the project and all it entails.
We go over every aspect, we work hand-in-hand for all shopping, ordering, and contractors assistance as needed.
Phase 4: Reveal Phase- Lastly we get to work! Making sure to be timely and efficient.
Implementing all your design needs per our discussions in our prior phases, we make sure to communicate every step and all that is happening with your project, we work diligently to design your home for you or stage your home as needed. When all is completed we schedule a 'grand reveal' to introduce you to your newly designed space.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
SIDC HOMES has accumulation of over 10 years of in-the-field training, working as a color consultant for Benjamin Moore Paints, mixing paints and matching almost any color, we have studied the psychology of color and obtain interior design degrees, architectural certifications, fine arts degree and we are LEED certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is tailor made for each client depending on their projects needs and requirements.
We however offer FREE or complimentary 30-minute design consultation to "discover" more about our clients project.
How did you get started in this business?
The owner of SIDC HOMES started this business after years of color consulting with Benjamin Moore Paints, space planning and designing for furniture showrooms like Bassett, designing with RH and many other design and home decor companies. Our owner saw a disconnection with the clients and the companies providing services. She decided that it was time to put our clients first with clear direction on how to provide the utmost care and customer service to our clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
SIDC HOMES works with all clients who are in need of interior design services. We work with new-home buyers, homeowners selling their homes, in need of home staging. We work with young business students, single families and multi-family homes, we offer our services to military families, and servicemembers, we work with other designers and business owners who are designing small business offices and restaurants. We design for everyone and anyone in need of design assistance!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask as many questions as you can at all times. Communication is key and if something is unclear it is best to get a full understanding before the hammer hits the nail.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Because the pro doesn't live at your home or uses the space being designed it is always best to give the pro an idea of your lifestyle and normal day to day activities in your space to ensure that the design isn't only visually attractive but also aesthetically pleasing to your everyday needs.
