What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet the homeowner and inspect the roof,measure the roof. I point out things that I see and explain why that is good or bad, make recomendations and answer any questions they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to trade school for carpentry, I have been a carpenter all of my life. It helps to know how things are built in order to fix things. I have been in the roofing field for 20yrs.+/_.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I use a computer program to do the estimates, after mesuring the roof I take that info and put it into this program and it gives me the final number.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home owners. you must own the home. That is the only "MUST" that has to be met in order to sign a contract.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your homework, get references, get 3 quotes and compare.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure you really need a new roof, there are people out there who will tell you that you need a new roof when you just need a repair. An honest contractor will tell you if you need too repair or replace
