Toms Ponds specializes in the creation of ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and beautiful landscapes. We have been in business for over 25 years in the Greater Tampa Bay area. We have won a FL friendly landscaping award in 2012. I am the Landscape Architect to the Cheval Golf & Country Club. I have trained and graduted two university students in Landscape Architecture; one participated in the fabulous waterworks of the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia while the other works with the Botanical Gardens in British Columbia, Canada. I love my work, beautifying and enriching the lives of my customers with our Unique Artistic Creations!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the customer on-site of where the work will be performed, answer/ask questions, and after investing the sufficient time, present a proposal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Landscape Architect; creating beautiful landscapes for over 25 years!

All the work we do is unique and artistic...none the same, so to is the pricing.
How did you get started in this business?
Have had a love for nature since a child. One thing led to another.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds, from restaurant owners desiring a Japanese garden at their Japanese Steakhouse, Doctors offices, Lawyers offices, Condominiums, homeowners looking for the creation, enhancement and/or maintence of water features, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
St Petersburg, FL Green Thumb Festival, St Pete Pride Street Festival, Speaker at Pinellas County Lakes and Ponds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The passion for my work speaks for itself. Though physically demanding, I love what I do, therefore it is not work but creating a beautiful environment.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Oh there are so many depending on the project. Basically, what do they want immediately, what will it look like in 5, 7, 10 years? Colors, shapes, maintenance, style, etc.
