What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My interaction with a new customer is very easy and quite simple. I first obtain basic information, perform an estimate, and then work on the job while keeping the customer up to date in every step of the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years in the flooring industry.
I received my contractors license in 2004. I've worked for various local flooring shops that actually do certifications on different types of floors that I participated in.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I do have a standard pricing list.
The pricing can go from square footage to hourly to flat rates. Depending on the material the charge is sq ft. The floor prep is hourly. The removal of old floors furniture and appliances are flat rates.
How did you get started in this business?
Way back in 1987 I was looking for a job fresh out of high school in the wanted adds of the newspaper! I started as an apprentice at $6. an hour!
