Personally working with home owners to realize their dreams and desires for their home and designing to that goal gives me the most joy in my profession. For me it is always a collaboration between home owners and I. For me this approach yields the most rewarding results for both the homeowner and me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We chat with new clients to understands their needs and goals for their property and the aesthetics they desire. In conjunction to this we always consider the environment in desig whether that is planting palette to ensure water conservation or building shading in reference to heating and cooling to reduce engery needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed landscape architects. Additionally everyone in our office either has a bachelors or a masters degree in landscape architecture with some having both.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our process always begins with a discussion with a potential new client and from that point we compile a proposal for landscape architectural design services which includes a fee proposal.
How did you get started in this business?
My love of design and the environment bought me to landscape architecture. After a conversation with a local landscape architect I completed my bachelors and then masters degrees both in landscape architecture.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a wide range of clients from estate residential clients where we work directly with the home owner to working in a team of architects and engineers on larger projects.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
My personal passion is working with homeowners in residential projects. In these situations getting to know the family and understanding how they live and how they would like to enjoy their new landscape and designing to that gives me great satisfaction.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Considering the process to design a new home environment is can be daunting, but by simply thinking of how you live and the functions and look you would like to see in your property will help begin the process. Having an understanding of this will help you find the right design professional.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Considering your desires and goals and also the fit of working with a design professional to achieve those goals I think is the most important considerations in creating a beautiful new environment.
