After years in the carpet cleaning business, Steve McIntyre realized that commercially available carpet cleaning equipment failed to provide the power needed to thoroughly clean carpet because they are driven by low horsepower engines.

So, Steamin' Steve developed his own unique truck-mounted steam cleaning system, powered by a Honda V4, water-cooled, double over-head cam, 16 valve motor, producing up to 80 horsepower. This motor is the key to Steamin' Steve's unsurpassed carpet cleaning capability.
