We will provide the City or municipal approved permit ..... available for the Owner's construction, his general contractor, or his remodel contractor.
We have provided these services for nearly 32 years.
We cannot provide a client with general contracting, remodeling, or construction of their projects.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Review the clients request.
2) Have a sit-down meeting with the client for more exacting information.
3) provide 2-3 interpretations of the clients ideas for his/her review.
4) Finalize the planf for final approval.
5) Provide the client with a fee proposal for architectural, engineering, or consult fee to provide a set of documents for City/County review and approvals.
6) Provide the necessary corrections or requirements to provide the client with a building permit. Assist in the selection of a building contractor. Construction Administration to assist the client in the construction process and act as an Owner's representative to the Generan Contractor.
7) Provide the final review process to close the construction contract, confirming the cpermitted documents requirements are fulfilled for the owner with the general contractor to provide the Owner with a Certificate of Occupancy.

Pricing is determined by the extent of the work requested by the client for the type of remodel, addition, or new construction for the services requested.
We recommend a telephone call or a sit-down meeting to discuss the extent of the project and their requirement to complete the project or provide the client with a construction permit.
How did you get started in this business?
After graduation, my college roommate asked me to redesign and modernize his 'older townhouse'.

1) We have worked with commercial developers, local builder/ contractors, and national retail chain stores, Real Estate Developers, and Property Management companies.
With first time home builders, home remodelers, residential flippers, general contractors, Realtors, and clients who want a vacation home, mother-in-laws quarters, and those clients that request a 'forever' home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be open to suggestion.
Don't be embarassed to put your ideas on paper. It's a concept that can with the right professional make that sketch a reality.
Your hand drawn ideas are a guide for your wants and wishes but be open to a professionals ideas to provide recommendations to design, materials and products, and money saving tips for construction details.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1) Wants, needs, and reality.
2) What's most important your wants and needs or the budget.
3) Be budget minded and ask for options, ther are always alternatives that may equate in a new design to save time and money.
4) Don't be afraid to ask for a full concept design and request the professional to provide a phasing plan to do some of the work later, or work that can be done by the Owner within their timeframe.
