What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss what the client is looking to have done.
Schedule a time to meet with the client (as needed) or to view the jobsite.
Clarify any questions I may have or the client may have.
Write up a quote.
Follow up with the client that they have received the quote.
Inform the client that All work is guaranteed. (Unless specified and client clearly understands why).
Accept a partial payment to schedule the start of the job.
Follow up via text the day before the start of the job to confirm and check for any changes necessary, equipment and other jobsite necessities.
Complete the job above and beyond clients desired results.
Walk thru or photo confirmation of completion and receive final amount due.
Final follow up with the client ~a week after completion, again 2 months after and follow up w a brief Thank you for hiring me and request for a written review.
Provide business cards for ease of future contact and inform the client of potential discounts for referrals.

How did you get started in this business?
My family has been doing this kind of work my whole life. I solo-installed my first tile floor at age 9, did my first roof from tear off to completion at age 14, gutted numerous homes for friends and family and refinished them(including layout changes), helped build my parents 15,000 sq ft dream house from footings to roof as well as the detached 4 car garage with isable upper attic areas and so much more. I have a green thumb and a keen eye for making outdoor areas look amazing while being low maintenance.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Completed a full flower bed makeover inclusing installation of 32 yds of mulch, trimmed 15 trees, and reset 2 large stone walls that had subjen into the geound over time. Clients were elderly and disabled so I offered extreme discounts and the Client was over-the-moon pleased with the work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always meet the Owner, manager, foreman or project manager and go with the Company you feel most compatible with. If you make the decision based on the $, you will very likely wnd up being disappointed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I suggest watching a few YouTube videos on different areas of your project (ex. Bathroom remodel, search tub installation, bathroom sink Install, tub surround tiling etc) look for things that seem important to you or your project.
