What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In my business, my customers come to me many times through a third-party. Either Sears or another appliance repair company. That makes my process easier. When I have a new repair Customer, the initial contact is all about the symptoms of the machine and the steps to solve the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over five years on the job experience with appliances and handyman projects. Plus a lifetime of home ownership
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My hourly rate is $120 and there are some predetermined rates for installs or after hours emergency's
How did you get started in this business?
I started working on dishwashers, and then moved into washing machines and dryers and electric ranges, and then ultimately gas ranges and gas dryers. I also replace water heaters and other plumbing fixtures
What types of customers have you worked with?
A large percentage of my customers are residential customers with appliance repair problems. But I also have commercial customers and I do work in Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls.
