What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally going to the customers address and assessing their property/needs. Meeting them helps put a face to the name as well as a connection.

Over 10 years of combined ops manager rolls in varying companies that have covered all services I offer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do for per job based on the type of job such as mulch, grass cutting and trimming/removal services. It's very difficult to share prices as it varies on services wanted and size of property.
How did you get started in this business?
By customer's demands growing from work completed. The demand was great enough to make a legitimate business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would consider meeting them face to face and going off of the vibe you get. You want to trust your professional and they want to trust you. Be respectful and kind but also let them know what ideas you have so they can help you achieve your goal.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Know what you want or tell them to design for you. For example, many times I have had customers want me to trim bushes but in the end, they wanted them removed. Makes more sense to remove them than waste money on trimming then removal.
I have also had customers want some repair work, and it came up to them that it would be better to replace what was damaged than do the repair which would eventually be replaced soon anyhow.
