What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At HardHat RVA, we strive for distinction by providing exceptional customer service. Therefore, when we communicate with a customer, it is a genuine interpersonal conversation, and we never use a generic template. When working with a new customer, our primary focal point is to understand what the client needs to have done, in detail. We achieve this by attentively listening to their request and actively asking questions as need be.
The purpose of this is to ensure we quote the lowest possible price to complete the project. Better comprehension irritates the need to "up-charge," as many of our competitors do.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
That's a loaded question, HaHa! We're deeply fond of all the projects we complete. Otherwise, we wouldn't put our name on it, and we proudly stamp the HardHat RVA seal on every job we complete.
Although there is one job, we enjoyed slightly more this November. We took great pleasure in laying some beautiful 12"x24" wood-grain, ceramic tile. The total project time was roughly 2-days. However, that included the demo of the existing flooring, removal of a 2" poured concrete slab, minor subfloor repair, toilet flange replacement, and of course, installation of the new ceramic tile.
We thoroughly enjoy tile installation projects for a simple reason. Installing tile requires great attention to detail and demands that the tile contractor, does the small things well. Overlooking minor details can have serious repercussions when it comes to laying tile.
If there's one thing, HardHat RVA does better than any other company; it's doing the small things well, consistently. Installing tile gives us a platform to show that characteristic off.
