My name is Calvin Evans and I am the owner/technician of COE Computer Repair & Service, LLC. I am an experienced Computer Technician with a home-based business in Smithfield, VA. I have over 30 years of experience in desktop and laptop computer hardware and software support. My mission is to provide exceptional service to each customer. All questions will be answered cheerfully. I understand that there is no better advertising than a satisfied customer. Advanced and novice users alike will find value in the services I offer.

Standard computer service includes on-site service at your home or business, diagnostic of desktop or laptop computers, no trip/travel costs, with a one-hour minimum, then charged in 15 minute increments. Estimated Work Time: 1+ Hour(s) Cost: $65 per hour (parts, hardware, software, 3rd party services or equipment are additional) My standard computer services hourly rate covers: • General software, and hardware repairs • Troubleshooting • Virus spyware/malware removal • Remote assistance • Desktop and Laptop repairs for PC or Mac • Upgrades CPU/processor, ram/memory, hard drives, video cards, power supply, modifications water cooling, and more • Laptop Screen and DC power jack repairs • Networking/Wi-Fi Setup with router configuration, security, and file sharing • Data backup and data transfer services

How did you get started in this business?

I got interested in computers while serving in the military and took a course in computers and microcomputers. I took a part-time job at one of the local computer stores building and repairing computers. After retirement from the military, I had several computer technical support jobs with government contractors and started a side business in 2011, the went out on my own in 2015. The rest is history.

I have worked with mostly residential suburban and rural customers, a few home-based business customers, churches, and small businesses.
