Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Very simple. I'll gather their contact information and input it into my Quickbooks database. That's it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a tech school that prepared students for a variety of Microsoft Certifications. All other experience has been hands-on working in different environments. Mostly government environments.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is $80/hour for onsite services. This excludes parts that may be required. $80 is the minimum per visit.
How did you get started in this business?
I started freelancing as a field service tech. This gave me an opportunity to get my business license.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with home and small business customers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my existing customers had contact me the first time requesting some critical issue with a server that happened to crash. They were above and beyond impressed with how quickly I responded with arriving onsite. I arrived within 30 minutes to an hour and I was able to get their office back up and running within two hours.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First thing would be to check out the reviews and read them. Quality is important. Contact the company and find out what you're first impression is of the company.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if they support a specific hardware and if they support that issue. That pretty much gets you straight to the point.
