Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Come to your house and walk through your home to understand what you want accomplished. We discuss your expectations of time and finance. We then set up a schedule for your cleaning day/days. It can be weekly, monthly, seasonally or for an event like family in town, a wedding etc. We continue to keep in touch to assure you are getting the services you requested and the satisfaction you deserve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are moms and grandmas who have kept homes for many years. We have become efficient over the years and know how to create a happy, clean space for your family. We will care about you as family not as clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies according to size of home and services requested
How did you get started in this business?
I found I enjoyed cleaning, tidying and organizing. I became good at it and found it not only relieved my stress but it also relieves the stress of the people who's homes I was cleaning. Win.Win.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Although Clean Break has done new construction cleans and move in/out cleans, we find we enjoy the personal relationships developed through residential cleans. We get to know our clients, their homes and their needs thus creating a more satisfying experience for all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, Clean Break went into a home to do what the client called a "standard clean". Upon arriving, staff discovered this couple was trying to sell the home and offer open house on their own, without realtors. We have done realtor cleans in past and have helped with staging so we offered advice to couple and what was once a simple clean turned into helping couple prepare home in a way they didn't know they needed help with. They were extremely grateful to staff and even called us back before the next weeks open house to help prepare.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you verbalize your expectations. Never assume we know what you want. We are here to provide you with a service and want to deliver the results you want. Don't be shy or feel you're being demanding when you clearly lay out your expectations and desired end results. That's how we accomplish your goal and make you happy
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Exactly what you want/need accomplished
Exactly what time frame you're hoping to accomplish this in
Your budget is also a factor and should be clearly discussed up front
