What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set an appointment to meet him/her in person, walk with them the house and check everything they wan to do, take notes of everything and them send them a written estimate explaining the project process and how long is going to take.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the home and business painting industry for more than 15 years starting as a worker then as a project manager and finally as a owner of my own business
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Mostly all the painting projects are different so my prices depends of how much we have to paint, how many colors, if the house is empty or occupied, the walls and ceiling height, if the house have crown molding, chair rail etc.
How did you get started in this business?
I start it in 1998 working for a big painting companies painting apartments complex and houses exterior and interior
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly home owners, retired, young couples, single people, but also business owners
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask them how many years they have in the business, if they have insurance, ask for a written estimate, what kind of materials they usually use in their projects, how much money they have to pay in advance ( no more of 25% or 30%)
