Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free estimates are given. If accepted, we will provide a design if needed, go over the specifics of the project with the client and provide an estimated time frame for the start and completion of the project. We are always available to answer questions and strive to make sure the customer is happy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rebecca has a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M in Agricultural Development, as well as, 7 years working at a wholesale nursery. She has worked from home doing landscape designs for 10 years now. She is also a licensed irrigator.
Bill has 18 years experience running his own landscape business. He has extensive knowledge in plants, irrigation, water features, hardscaping, tree trimming, lawn care and more.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Though landscaping and irrigation work vary by job, lawn care usually runs 30 to 65 dollars depending on the size of the yard. Most lawns are around $45. Lawn service includes mowings, weed eating and blowing. We have weekly, biweekly and monthly schedules, but WILL NEVER mow your yard if it doesn't need it.
We can also quote you for full maintenance packages and can provide fertilizer and specticide as needed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Bill gained his passion for plants from his father, which grew into his love for creating beautiful yards. After meeting Rebecca at the nursery where he worked, both combined their knowledge to create Knockout Landscaping.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential, commercial and contractors
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to get referrals from the company you choose and several quotes. Often the cheapest company is not always the most experienced or thorough.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It helps to know what what you want. Is low maintenance important? Do you have deer in your area? Are there certain colors or styles you like?
