What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself in person. Seek to get a very clear understanding of their issues. Honestly assess my ability to help. Make an offer based on hours needed at $25 per hour. Do not charge if I cannot help.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. My rate is $25 per hour, $150 per day. I not charge for mileage and have a minimum charge of $15 when I spend time on a project but find that I cannot help.
How did you get started in this business?
Bought the first computer every offered for home use by Tandy Corporation. Am now retired and like to be of help when I can.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily individuals and small businesses.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
I am standardizing and analyzing two large databases of over 30,000 records for a local small organization. This job includes putting both databases into similar layouts, filtering out bad data, merging the two databases, creating reusable reports and views per the customer's needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Listen with your mind clear and trust your gut totally.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The more simply an issue can be described the better. Pros will know what questions need to be asked.
