Get a few references and make sure you ask if he answers his calls promptly. Nothing is more frustrating, than contractors who don't show...but worse if you can't get an answer or call back....not knowing is nerve-wracking
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a specific budget you want to abide by. The Pros will ascertain what all of your project you'll be able to complete and at what caliber of finish.
