For the work they did, they did a decent job. However, what I thought we agreed upon was different from what was delivered in the end. I was very specific about removing the old soil and redoing the weed barrier and then re-adding new soil, due to all the weeds and grass. However, what I got was some tilling and covering up my existing soil with a new barrier and then adding some topsoil on it. Very little money (less than $300) was used on materials (top soil) and the rest of the agreed upon amount $1500 was used for four hours of labor. I just finished adding more garden soil (could still see too much of the weed barrier) and feel like I just paid a lot of money just to do more work myself. He did say he would guarantee no weeds for 3 years, but after the work was done, I sprayed it with weed killer and then added new garden soil over the existing top soil. Lesson learned...be very specific and get everything in writing!
