What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take all local Service Calls on Appointments.
For now I am taking alll calls in evening hours.
Or late hours M-T and Sat & Sun depending of avalablity.
Service calls are performed on sites.
If Laptop works takes longer then 30 mintues.
It is then taken for repairs to my home office based area.
All parts are ordered upon approval of clients and Customers.
All software updates, backup & restore can be done on site. All Anti-Virus Removal can be done on site.
I am trained & certifed in Dell, Compaq\HP, IBM and Levono. Product .
I have been in this field for last 25+ years.
I have worked for major 500 & 1000 fortune companies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Broad understanding of computer Hardware, Software, Networking, Security, and hands on experience at an Enterprise level of the following: Installation, Configuration, Management, Troubleshooting, Diagnostic and Support. CompTIA Certified: Zerofox, Devo, Threat Connect, Tanium, Security+, Server+, Network+, A+, HP APS, Dell, and IBM.

If most answer are given at time of end user or customer contact call.
First of hour of service call $78 each hour worked if parts are need required the price of part will be added with price of the labor charge.
If end user or customer makes an appointment they call of service and change their mind after we are at their home or office their will be trip charge of $69.00. But at times we can work out with end users and customer depending on the issue or the problem.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been in Information Technology and Computer Industry for over 30+ years since 1987 after I completed my A.A.S in E.E.T.

I have worked with all major Corp end user and retail end users and customer in stores like Computer City and large stores in my career.

I recently completed a contract and project role as Tech Lead for PNC Bank.

Always check if the pro is trained and certified and has real life experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always make sure is it hardware issue , software issue or network related issue.
Answer all the question pro to make sure communication between end user or customer is the same.
