  • James Eldridge.

This is the most pleasant review I have ever written about my personal experience with a contractor or service provider. "G" the tree Guy solved so many issues we were facing with our very expensive, newly installed landscaping. We recently hired another landscaper who convinced us to install way too many plants. They call it "crowd planting." What a mess, it failed all the way, we were so upset. The folks at our local Calloway's from which we purchased all the plants, told us about this tree and plant guru who could possibly resolve everything. So, here came Geoffry Steiner, Tree Care by Steiner, the solution expert. Yes, he certainly is the guru, he solved it, he made it so beautiful and beyond what we ever thought it could be. We really spent a ton of money for all this new landscaping and had high expectations for it to be what we wanted. We thought it was a complete loss until "G" worked up his magic. He arrived the next morning after we reached out to him, after he looked thoroughly over the whole situation, as we stood there with worried faces awaiting some bad news, he just smiled. He gave us hope, then he proved his theories and suggestions and our plants and landscaping are simply amazing. It was such a relief, he saved every plant, arranged them correctly and so exceeded our expectations, just did an awesome job, and very reasonably cost wise too. I sleep better at night now, In the morning with my coffee, I look over this beautiful landscape, it is so calming. I have to tell you about this guy, so attentive and detail oriented, he was so focused on fixing this whole thing, just...WOW. So, my review about "G" is such a pleasure to write, intriguing because its a rare occasion to have such a professional "solve the issues." Mr. Steiner, Thank You, Sir.

This Arborist and his crew have solved our tree issues once and for all. Had numerous other tree guys mess things up but Geoffry Steiner has made our trees healthy and beautiful once again. Thank You Mr. Steiner.

Our neighbors hired this company to trim up everything on their property. After watching these guys work and the owner/supervisor working with them was really impressive. They started early and at the end of the project the clean up was beautiful. We hired them to trim our trees and then 2 more neighbors had their trees worked on also. Really a great company with on the job leadership. Now our whole street looks great. Thank You Steiner Tree Care.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Establish a relationship of trust.  Listen to your customers as you are there to provide services for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Certified Arborist, have many years in the timber indusrty from timber falling, high rigging and removals.  Became fascinated with trees and how they actually function.  Have studied for years from what are the "Masters" of all wooded structure.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We have a full day price based on an 8 hour day.  Then that can be divided to 3/4 day, 1/2 day/ and a 1/4 day.

How did you get started in this business?

Growing up in the industry since 15 years of age, exposed to some of the most precarious of and rigorous of timber harvesting situations.  It was a natural to blend into the world of tree care.

What types of customers have you worked with?

From commercial and residential, any tree needs that anyone may have.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

A giant and very old Live Oak tree that other arborists and tree services could not save from dying out.  We cleaned up the whole tree, gave it the quality fertilizers it really needed.  Not only did the tree return to health, it has become a staple in the neighborhood.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Our words and actions define us.  There are many who can talk, however, the walk is quite another.  How passionate are they about their chosen profession, what knowledge have they gained through the years of experience.  It should become obvious to the customer if the expert truly is just that.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What really are my trees/shrubs needing.  What quality of work am I needing.  How thorough is the potential expert and how willing are they to do the work properly.
