Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer calls they generally want to know when can you fix it and how much will it cost. When I arrive I'll diagnose the appliance or equipment and give a firm estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I graduated high school I started to work for an appliance parts supply house. I think this was the most valuable training anyone could have to repair appliances. I have been to about every appliance repair class that was offered back in the 80's.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My service call in Nashville on most appliances is $60.00. This does apply towards the repair bill if you have us repair the appliance.
How did you get started in this business?
After selling appliance parts for about four years. I decided it was time for me to try repairing appliances myself. At first I tried starting a business of my own but I had no expierence at all. So after working for a lot of other companies in 2012 I opened my own business again and have been at it every since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
A lot of my work comes from people who own rental properties. In Nashville there are a lot of Bed and Breakfast places. We do a lot of work with these customers also. I do commercial refrigeration so some of my customers own restraunts. The majority of my work comes from homeowners who simply need their refrigerator or washer repaired.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Read the companies reviews and hire a independently owned local repair company
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Should I repair this or replace it.
