Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We explain our Trip fee and the Diagnostic call before we go out. We also try to give them as much upfront pricing as we can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians have hands- on training and a 16 week apprenticeship program that they complete before becoming a full-time technician. Also ... we always have a supervisor available for any questions that come up or if he is needed as a second set of eyes to evaluate the situation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Trip and Diagnostic fee is $59.95 plus tax. Once the technician has diagnosed the probelm and finds out what part is needed, he will quote the part price and labor. We try to repair as soon as possible but cannot carry every single part for all of the numerous appliances, but we can usually get parts very quickly.
How did you get started teaching?
Always enjoyed repairing appliances and training and adding new technicians to oyr business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds of residential homes in Rutherford County and several businesses that have appliances that are in their break rooms, etc. We also have several property management companies and home warranty service.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask them pricing to come to the house and what that price entails.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is going on exactly with your appliance. What is the issue. No one uses it or knows it like you do.
