I've been doing tree work my whole life. I started in the woods with my grandfather when I was 12 years old logging pine in Michigan until I was 17 years old. At 17 i join the Army for 2 years, and after i got out I went back in the woods. That's when I learned that tree climbers were making good money in city removing dangerous tree away from houses. After learning that. I decided to try climbing, since I already was used to wearing a set of climbing spikes setting chokers for pull trees in the woods. I have been lumberjacking since and there isn't a day that goes by that i do not enjoy climbing. I encourage everyone to try it at least once, because it pays to discover.
