AMC Services
About
Many times people in the trades are so busy that they find it hard to be punctual and show up when they say they will. In AMC Services, which I started in 2003, I feel that it is important to maintain contact with my customers and keep my time commitments in addition to doing quality work within any project.
I have had great customers and they have attested to my quality and commitment, and I have never had less than a 5 Star rating. Through my company I serve customers from Chattanooga to Knoxville and many points in between, typically a 50 mile radius of Madisonville, TN.
Being a self-employed Handyman in addition to doing the construction jobs that come my way provides me a variety of projects and gives me flexibility that I enjoy. Through the years I have been busy just from word of mouth and the referrals that satisfied customers have blessed me with, and only a very small portion of my work has come from external leads.
In the past, I have worked in the construction trades, done residential and commercial jobs and sub-contracted work from a commercial property manager, all of which have given me experience to draw on from a wide variety of jobs.
My background has been checked and I have been certified by Thumbtack, another lead generation company, though not all companies do that. Information on this can be seen at: www.thumbtack.com/biz/amc-services-1, along with photos of the many jobs that I have done.
I'll do your job with quality, integrity and guaranteed satisfaction! Let's do it!
I love the variety and the challenges that different projects have. Many times you have to think outside the box to do a job and meet and overcome challenges in creative ways. Jobs are often unique, and what you learn on one job is not necessarily going to work on another.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the lead arrives in my inbox, I respond by email (letter) introducing my company, and I thank them for contacting me and then and tell them what I am able to offer to my prospective customers. If further information is needed, I make mention of this to the customer and arrange to meet with them for a free consultation at a time that is convenient for them. I always give my phone number to the customer and invite them to give me a call. It is also a perfect opportunity to invite them and to view photos that I have posted from previous jobs.
At times, necessary information is obtained via the phone call and at the discretion of the customer we may decide to begin the job without having the free onsite meeting. When this happens, it is often because the customer already has the materials onsite and they do not feel a need of meeting in person.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of hands-on experience gained from working with other building contractors while I was in college. I have also gained experience by doing my own home maintenance through the years, and last of all, by doing jobs through self-employment in this very process.
