What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a potential customer contacts us we have a phone discussion to determine what the customer is considering doing. If the work falls in our list of services we then inform the customer of our design/consultation fee schedules and set up an on-site visit to assess the project.
At this point we evaluate the project to offer the customer an estimate of how much time and money will be involved in the design process.
From this point we measure out the site. Once back at the office we create a base plan of the site and then begin the design process. Designs can vary greatly depending on the site and what the customer is wanting to accomplish.
We first create a preliminary concept plan and send to the client for their input. We then continue the design until we feel like we have satisfied the customers request.
At that point we present the plan, along with pricing and an invoice for the design, in person. If the project is approved we schedule the work.
