I am now a Briggs and Stratton Specialized Dealer and Direct warranty repair facility I sell New and quality used equipment do repairs and annual services to most Major brands of lawn and garden equipment. Im certified through Briggs and Stratton, Factory trained and tested. I take a yearly update or refresher course to keep up with my certifications and learn about new products and new developments in the lawn and garden industry.
I have many many years experience of repairs to small engines, It started out as a science project back when I was in fifth grade and its been a pasion ever since. I just recently moved into a bigger shop too take on more work, I do carry a wide variety of parts and also provide customers with over the counter parts sales. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the customer, getting into conversation about the problems that are developing with their equipment, or get as much information over the phone as I can to approach the situation
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All certifications through Briggs and Stratton that requires the Authorized Dealer Certificate, Specialized Dealer Certificate, and the Master Service Technician Certificate.
Just as of recent, I have been authorized to become a Specialized Dealer through Briggs & Stratton, I will be selling a variety of different Lawn & Garden Power products.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $68.00 per hr + travel time and that is a flat rate accordingto mileage. Parts and tax will also be charged.
How did you get started in this business?
It started with a science project in the fifith grade, and its been a goal ever since, too work for myself at my own business.

Moving into a bigger shop, and now just becoming a full Specialized Dealer for Briggs & Stratton and a Factory Direct Authorized Warranty Repair Center.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Being honest, I would see if there was a warranty on the product too be worked on, and if it was a substantial drive to customers residence I'd make sure there wasn't a closer repair facility closer to him/her.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Too know exactly what the type of problem he or she was having, Fuel, electrical, drive, tires....etc.
