We are a woman-owned business using ecosystem-strengthening methods to manage weeds, install gardens, restore woodlands, transform lawns, rejuvenate shrubs and trees, and maintain garden beds. We design gardens for long-term health and beauty. Our motto is Cultivating People-Plant Relationships.

Our initial consultation discusses existing conditions, problems experienced, client goals, possible solutions, and culminates in an eco-landscaping plan.

Horticulture and arboriculture training through University of Illinois extension, Penn State extension, and Morris Arboretum.

Pricing is determined per job, based upon the size of the crew needed for completion. Estimates are provided, and we honor these estimates.

Switched from tenured economics professor to focus on improving ecosystems through plant care.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clients want beautiful outdoor spaces, eco-friendly weed management, and methods that limit our carbon footprint. They prefer native plants and want their home ecosystem to be healthy for the long term.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My favorite recent project was a woodland restoration. We removed invasive plants from a large shaded area, designed a naturalistic woodland garden, and installed native shrubs and groundcovers.
