You can count on us to get the job done in a timely manner!
We have been in business since June 2015. We have made great strides in our industry! In 3 months we were able to work full time after expanding to include tree services. We saw a huge need in the Susquehanna Valley area and decided to go for it. Business took off!
We have a passion for helping people achieve their lawncare goals! We feel right at home working outside.
Our motto is, "Let us do All the sweating for you!"
What gives us the most satisfaction is when our customers and even their neighbors are so thrilled with the job we did and keep coming out to admire it! When the tell us they are so glad they hired us and never thought of doing it this way!
Once we were in a little development cutting some pretty big trees down that were leaning the opposite direction that we needed to drop them. They were along the edge of a wood line. They were leaning towards a shed and a deck in the back of their property. We had an audience watching us that day on all sides. We had 7 trees to drop. We we got to the biggest cherry tree, which was leaning towards the shed, we had to get a little creative. We tied a rope just above half way on the back end of it. It was a double tree. Then we weaved they rope in the woods and around some of the other trees for leverage. Then we brought it back out into the yard and attached it to the truck. We the tree started coming down I pulled it with the truck just a little and it landed inside the woods along the tree line! Suddenly there was a ton of hooting and hollering going on, as everybody was cheering! We ended up dropping all but 1 tree in the woods that day. It was one of those days where everything went just right!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet in person and give free estimate. Find out what customer's needs are. Show credibility and accomplishments. Discuss and offer payment plans. We require half down on all tree services! We also take credit cards. We also set up payments on lawn care at the beginning of each month with credit card payments. This eliminates us any need to have to track down any customers who haven't paid so we can concentrate on what we do best, taking care of them! Plus it is easier for our customers because it is only 1 payment a month at the same time each month, so they can plan ahead.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am partially certified as an arborist. I passed the arborist short course at Penn State Extension. Plus, I have extensive training cutting trees down for firewood with my dad for many years. Also Mike (my Tree climber) is also fully certified and has 27 years experience under his belt.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$75 per half acre for Mowing, trimming, and blowing.
Spring and fall clean up (leaves and branches) is $75 an hour.
Weeding is $75 an hour for 2 guys.
Brush hogging $100 per half acre.
All tree services are given a custom estimate including stump grinding.
How did you get started in this business?
A friend of the family needed help mowing her yard. Soon the neighbor needed done, etc., etc
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly home owners. Have done some tree removal for Bucknell University and a few commercial mowing jobs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First and foremost, do they have the proper training and certifications? Are they fully insured and bonded? If so, how much? Are they safety conscious? Do they give you the proper respect as the property owner and do they or will they treat your property accordingly? Do they guarantee their work? How?
When pruning a tree, ask them how they do it? What will the final result be? Do they care about the health of the tree, not just the looks? How many branches will be removed? Do they top the trees? Will they be using spikes for climbing while pruning? While removing branches, what kinds of cuts with they be making, where, and how?
It is recommended that you should never remove over 25% of a tree's live branches. Even less for mature trees because they won't heal as fast! You should also never ever top a tree! You could end up killing it eventually! It is also the same way for removing branches. If you remove everything it will create irreversible damage! Whenever you mishandle any pruning, the damage is permanent! Causing it to potentially be a safety hazard and devalue your property!
Did you know that hiring a skilled arborist will actually add value to your property? This alone makes it well worth spending the extra money to do so very worthwhile! Not to mention avoiding any risk of anyone getting hurt!
This is why you should never hire anyone who doesn't consider this carefully! It is also why you should never attempt to do it yourself.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are you willing to sell yourself short by hiring someone based mainly on price?
What is the health of your tree, the way it stands?
If left alone, how will the health of your tree(s) be affected in a few years?
Is your tree diseased and if so, must it be removed? How soon?
Is your tree(s) infested? How badly? What are the proper actions?
If there is fungus on a tree, what does it mean?
After tree removal, does the stump need to be removed also? If so, how soon? What would potentially happen if left alone?
Can storm damaged trees be saved?
