Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Helped a family in Forest Grove find a leak in the irrigation system (installed by another company) that was wasting 10,000 gallons of water a month, and adding up to high costs on their water bills.
I located their leak within a day, repaired it and set the homeowner's mind at ease. See www.flowcheckllc.com for a review from the customer I worked with.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure the irrigation contractor is licensed and fully insured/bonded. A lot of small companies are out there who will gladly charge you less, take your money and then not return your phone calls when your new system begins to leak or not work.
Flowcheck follows up on every job and we are just a phone call away. There's no excuse for a company these days not to answer and return your calls promptly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I always recommend my customers bring a copy of their water bill from the summer months, if available. Then we can get a baseline for how much water the new irrigation system is going to save them.
I also love to get a lot of questions from my customers because I love teaching people about the importance of annual backflow testing and water effeciency in their irrigation systems.
