We are a professional, licensed, bonded and insured cleaning company servicing the greater Clark County Washington area. We have an A-1 rating with the BBB. Our employees are friends and family and we pay their required taxes, employment security, labor & industries etc.. I would describe our workers as friendly, responsible, trustworthy and experienced. I feel that our business is only as good as our employees and I try hard to retain their services by treating them fairly and providing a wage that makes it advantageous for them to stay with us. This is the only way to provide a consistently valuable service to our much appreciated clients without whom we would have no business at all!!
I enjoy very much my business because even though I can no longer go out and do cleaning myself as I did when I was young I can still provide a valued service to people in my community and provide for the needs of our family at the same time. I enjoy going out and meeting potential new clients and visiting with them. As a team we enjoy seeing the remarkable change that occurs in many homes when we service them regularly. We help our community because our clients can spend more time with their families. Parents can pay more attention to their children. Older ones can remain in their homes longer. We help our clients take care of their homes doing chores that they have no time for, do not want to do, or can no longer do on their own.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When someone shows interest in our services I usually set up a time to meet with them at their home or office so we can walk through and get to know each other a bit. When I can see the area first hand understand what exact services are required then I can give an accurate quote. I will leave a written quote, a list of some of our current and past clients as references, and list of the chores we will provide on a regular basis. If the customer decides to use our services I will set them up with their own team of 2 cleaners for a familiar and consistent experience. I do not require residential clients to sign a contract for a fixed term of service. For office cleaning we give a written proposal and if accepted we will sign a contract with the business requesting services.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For first time and one time deep cleaning, as well as move-in and move-out cleaning we do an hourly rate of, usually, $50 per cleaner. For on-going maintenance cleaning we do a flat per visit rate for each cleaning. That rate depends on many factors, such as the size and condition of the home or office, specific services and frequency requested, # of bedrooms and bathrooms, furnishing, # of people using the property, whether or not there are pets, etc... etc... The flat rate is established following an on-site walk thru and interview.
How did you get started in this business?
I established a cleaning service in California in 1972 which my husband and myself worked up until 1993. Over that time we gained experience in both home and office cleaning. I have owned Family Home and Office Cleaning here in Vancouver since 2002 and my husband co-managed with me until his death in 2021. Since then my son Ben takes care of the office clients and I manage the homes that we clean on a regular basis.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with both residential and commercial clients cleaning homes, apartments, and offices.. We have worked with real estate agents and their clients getting their homes ready for sale or for new occupants. Many of our clients have used our services for a long time, some well over 10 years. Some are young families with pets, single people, and senior citizens. Many are never home when our teams clean and others are always there. We work hard at adapting to the circumstances of each client. Even though it is impossible to please all the people all the time we try our best!!!
