A friend of mine offered me a chance to learn it and taught me due to my past in serving locally and strong diciplines. As a young man I worked with a man in this profession and he was crusty, but a perfectionist and did gaarge doors the best way and taught me respect and to do things right.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check reviews and ask for a friends advice on them. Are they local? Do they support the local community? Dealing local is the only way to make sure you're dealing with a reputable company.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Whats the products they offer? Are they locally made? How long have they been doing this type of work. Trust your gut when talking to the person, and see if they will offer education on the products they sell? Knowledge is power and do not go to big box stores! They do not know gaarge doors. These are very specialized products and you need expert advice form a expert on this subject. They may seel them, but they do not understand them like we do.
