Doing it right the first time and communicating with the customer are of utmost importance. As a habit , due to my 16 yrs experience as a preventative maintenance tech any equipment I work on will get a visual inspection to let the owner know of any mechanical/safety issues they should be aware of.
I'm in it for satisfaction of a job well done and making the customer happy. I love to earn repeat business by letting the quality of my work stand on it's own. Customer service comes natural to me and I enjoy interacting and educating folks.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask any pertinent questions up front. Communicate effectively to make sure current needs and any potential concerns are met by including everything that may be required for the repair in the Upfront Service Call Fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
3 yrs Part time Vocational Training in Automotive Service, Classes in Small Engine Repair, Diesel and Hydraulic Theory.
Tire Maintenance Certified by ITRA. Can change inspect/ recondition /service most wheel assemblies on a variety of equipment.
Hands on experience repairing- All Makes and models of Motor Vehicles avg 10YRS old or more. Lawn Mowers, Go Carts , Motor Cycles, Dirt Bikes, Marine Outboards, AC/DC Motors, Rebuilding Carburetors, Basic Machining Experience such as turning brake Rotors, Sharpening ALL types of Blades.
20yrs Experience Troubleshooting and repairing Many types of Electromechanical Equipment. Excellent at tracking down DC electrical/Ground issues and repairing electronics down to the component level. Have fixed and still do onside repairs of Flat Screen TVs, projectors(CRT and LED) Video Game Machines, Home PCs and Laptops.
