Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet the client on site to discuss the project and share ideas. We can usually have a competitive quote and proposal within 24 to 48 hours depending on the size of the project. Larger, more complex projects may take a little more time to quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for over 10 years with some local landscapers and self taught what I didn't learn on the job. My passion, curiosity and interest in landscaping naturally led me to learn as much as possible about the work and the business.
As a company, our number one mission is to make people happy. The biggest reward is not only standing back and seeing a beautiful job well done, but also the satisfaction and smile from our clients.
We have also been featured at a few Homearamas, the premier homebuilder and landscaper yearly convention.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We price depending on the type of work; some projects are quoted based on square footage, others are based on an hourly rate. We strive to be fair in our pricing.
How did you get started in this business?
From working as a landscaper for so many years, I earned a reputation for my high end quality work and ethic. Over time, from word of mouth, I established a solid base of loyal customers and branched out on my own. My business has expanded dramatically ever since and I now employee 10 groundskeepers and a business manager.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with private homeowners, corporate clients and commercial property owners.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask lots of questions! Don't hold back as there are no stupid questions. Get to know the contractor as much as possible and once you find a good one you are comfortable with and trust, stay loyal, build the relationship, and they will take good care of you!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a target budget for the project, and keep an open mind about time frame.
Ask for some ideas. Also ask about what might go wrong. A contractor may have concerns about the project based their experience and you should know ahead of time.
