Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We come out and give you a FREE estimate where we compare wholesale pricing and first give you an estimate for labor. Then we preshop for you after we discuss the type and style flooring you want. With my 30 years experience I know what styles that are happening and what is outdated and can show you the best of what is new
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of success speaks for itself
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing competes with the big box stores where we come under their price. We are not too high nor too low. In my experience consumers want a good job and they know that they get what they pay for. We will always try to match and beat our competitors pricing with a written estimate.
How did you get started in this business?
I got into this business right after High School with a close family friend and the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I started my flooring experience here in Columbus Ohio at the peak of the Parade of Homes in the late '80's. Shortly after I started my commercial experience by traveling all over the United States installing flooring in all the Red Lobster, Olive Gardens, AMC Theaters, Fashion Bugs Dress Barns, Mens Warehouse and on and on. With my family growing i decided to stay in town and have mainly been doing retail residential.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be choosey and relate to their knowledge and experience before hiring and always check references.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is your Budget. Flooring can be you 2nd largest purchase after a home or car.
